It’s hard to find the words to do the colour of Dahlia 'Iced Tea' justice. Amber? Terracotta? Peach? All the above?! These warm-toned double blooms have a stylish ombre look, darker at the centre fading to lighter outer petals; their unique colouring simply glowing in pots and borders. We love seeing 'Iced Tea' dahlias mingle with darker hues such as Salvia 'Caradonna', for a rich, jewel-like display. Irresistible!  

With its picture-perfect blooms and strong, sturdy stems, Dahlia 'Iced Tea' makes the ideal cut flower. Be sure to plant plenty of spares for the vase, and resist the urge to pick too early, as, unlike many other flowers, dahlias don’t unfurl a great deal once they’ve been cut. Picking first thing in the morning or later in the evening (when moisture levels are high) will result in a longer vase-life, as will changing the water once or twice.
