Let’s start with the colour—it’s the same intense shade as you find with orange juice, with darker orange veins to the petals. Then there is the flower itself: it’s double, packed with petals, and around 10cm across. Finally, we must consider the plant’s size: Daylily 'Double Orange Zephyr' is dwarf, at just around 45cm in height, and with arching mid-green sword-shaped leaves. Its flowers appear on stalks in midsummer. Even better, this vibrant newcomer to the daylily clan reblooms from late summer to early autumn, continuously proving that it is a plant to be noticed!Â
