Force an early flurry of spectacular giant snowflakes with Leucojum 'Gravetye Giant' forcing bulbs! Here’s another wonderful way to bring the outdoors in to light up your home during early spring. This much-loved Leucojum traditionally flowers outdoors around April every year, but these special bulbs are cultivated in a warmer climate which means they are naturally adapted for early flowering and best suited for forcing indoors to produce a sparkling display from as early as January. What’s more, these giant snowflake bulbs for forcing typically produce extra florets, giving you a longer lasting and more impressive blizzard of blooms!

Leucojum aestivum 'Gravetye Giant' forcing bulbs do need to experience a cool dormant period before they’ll start to grow. We recommend planting into pots in autumn and keeping them in a sheltered outdoor position for around 9-12 weeks – once they are brought indoors, they should start to grow quite rapidly. While growing, they’ll need plenty of natural light, so a position the pot in a conservatory or right next to a window at least until they reach flowering stage. Once bloomed, plant the Leucojum 'Gravetye Giant' forcing bulbs outside and they should grow back in the following year!
