Enjoy a burst of sunshine whatever the weather, with Lupin 'Desert Sun'! From creamy white buds emerge golden yellow flowers, held in large, plump spikes above elegant grey-green foliage. Reaching 80cm, Lupinus 'Desert Sun' is a cottage garden favourite which is ideal for the middle of a border, where it makes a perfect companion for cool blues such as Campanula and Perovskia.  

You can never have enough lupins in the garden, so you’ll be pleased to hear they are spectacularly easy to propagate yourself. Come early spring, snip a few new shoots when they're around 8cm tall and tuck them into a pot filled with gritty compost. Give your Lupin 'Desert Sun' warmth, light, and regular misting, and before too long you should see roots peeping out of the bottom of the pot. This is your cue to move them into individual pots, and grow on until they are beefy for planting outside.
