With a simply gorgeous intense yellow that joyously celebrates spring, Narcissus 'Golden Delicious' is a boost of serotonin, and drifts of these sunny daffodils are like a feel-good factor coursing through the garden! These are impactful fully-double daffodils, packing in several whorls of wavy petals in the outer segment of the flower, known as the perianth, as well as in the central corona. Producing up to three blooms per stem, this 'Golden Delicious' daffodil has the floriferous abundance of a rose or a peony, but with the daffodil’s signature yellow cheeriness. It even packs in a soft fragrance to add to its delights.

Growing on sturdy stems up to 40 cm tall, Narcissus 'Golden Delicious' holds its blooms up proudly, and would make an impressive display planted en masse, edging a path or perhaps skirting around a border. They will also look radiant planted in pots, and are excellent as cut flowers to bring into the house, where their fragrance can be fully enjoyed. Blooming in mid spring, like many daffodils, Narcissus 'Golden Delicious' enjoys free-draining soil in a sunny or partially shaded site, and would look delightful among a patch of forget-me-nots.
