This adorable compact plant is a delight to watch unfurl as summer turns to autumn, starting with delicate wispy foliage which is later topped with a glorious late-season display of pretty pink flowers. To enjoy Oxalis 'Pink Spider' to the full, we recommend planting this sweet little sorrel in pots which can be positioned higher than ground level. Golden autumn days feel extra magical when there are new flowers to admire in the garden! 

While Oxalis 'Pink Spider' is great for growing in pots, its also looks very much at home in rockeries. This variety is not fully hardy though, so unless you’re growing it in an area where there’s no risk of freezing over winter, we find pots the safest option. Potted plants can easily be moved under cover for frosty nights. This type of Oxalis flowers throughout autumn and into winter when temperatures are cool/cold. It will become dormant in spring when the weather warms warm up.
